Happy birthday a thousand times over. Forgive me. I know this can't be worth the wait. I tried, and failed. _____________________________________ This piece has been cursed from the start...I can't tell you how long I've spent on it...how many times I've drawn and redrawn it, and how many times it's driven me over the edge. And it still turned out like feces. This version was finally coming along better than the others and, just as I was putting the finishing touches on it, Mike Teavee decides to get a big, fat, nasty smudge right in the middle of his forehead, the bastard. I'm telling you...I nearly ripped up the paper right then and there. I was so frustrated. Arg. I guess it's just 'cause...when I draw things for other people...I get so caught up in trying to make it perfect...since my approval is no longer the one that matters most. Anyhow, I'm going to digress so I can calm down...erm...let's talk about the fact that Tim Burton is a genius. I personally enjoyed his interpretation of Roald Dahl's story very much. I tried to do something new with this picture, by picking out the red color...hm...yeah ok...I don't really want to talk about this piece anymore. |

Almira Gulch! Just because you own half the county doesn't mean you have the power to run the rest of us. For twenty-three years, I've been dying to tell you what I thought of you. And now, well, being a Christian woman, I can't say it.

Haha...I have the image of them going down the stairs in my mind right now...with Willy Wonka being all spastic.
