Well, I've finally scanned this piece in (talk about untimeliness though, in my busiest hour here I am obsessing over such trivial things while I have a bio test to "study" for, yes indeed...or rather, here I am drawing when I could have my biology book propped open in front of me while I studiously not read it and convince myself I'm being productive)
I absolutely how it came out. I don't know why, I mean, it's not outstanding or anything but I really like it. I think it's one of my personal favorites. Maybe it's just my preoccupation with HP stuff and the Marauders and... Sirius Black. Ha.
Well yes, this is a piece of the Marauders. By moonlight. Hence the title. Ooooooooh, what a stroke of brilliance. I was kind of going for a wild, rebellious, free kind of feel to capture the spirit of the Marauders. Here you see James/Prongs, Remus/Moony (I kept on typing Lupin jnstead of Moony yar...), and Sirius/Padfoot (And I kept on typing Black...dammit). See if you can find ol' Wormtail yourself. So, er...here they are racing through the Haunted Woods, or just some random trees, during the full moon, in the dark (yeah hence the moon...and the darkness), with lots of swirly yellow stuff around them because I felt like drawing swirly yellow stuff. They're uh...magic lines. Yeah. Erm, well, I tried pretty hard in getting this exactly how I wanted it to turn out, and I think it came out pretty OK.
Thanks for looking.

That is so awesome. I absolutely love your style! I think you succeeded with the look you were going for, the crosshatching of the pencil and the quick brushstrokes really accomplish it.
Such michievous beasts. I love the Wormtail on Prongs' antlers!
Does you guys think the white border looks kind of funky? I don't know, I'm kind of thinking it over right now...should I take it or leave it?

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
