Please full view. It's worth it...I think. I dunno. If you think it's an ugly drawing then don't, it'll just hurt your eyes more.

Yeah...this was one of my final projects for art class, the assignment was to draw something which represented our senior year in high school...
As you can see...I kind of went off on a tangent...I was kind of just like, "Screw that, I'm graduating mofos..." and added my usual spiral/swirly stuffs, random lines, spiderwebs, targets, and tree things. I did include books though...that's kind of school related right? Eh...I don't know...as much as I try to be cool and not care...I just don't feel good turning in crap...I mean...when you're presenting your work to other people...it should be, well...presentable, it should reflect at least some effort or thought, or else why bother to waste both their time and yours?
Wuhhhtevrrrthhhh...I ended up getting an A in the class...so hey. Everyone's happy. Good good.
I don't remember why I was stupid and decided to do a pen illustration. That was a bitch. I ended up having no time to do the last project of the year and I pretty much slapped something together in and hour and handed it in and it was still wet. So...what was that about me saying I'm uncomfortable with turning in crap? The assignment was to do a landscape using paper and another media, so I did a scene with factory pipes spewing out black smog, which I replaced with a collage of images I got from magazings depicting war, greed, the media, etc. I wish I would have had more time...doh.
woah, the colour scheme! Perfect it is for the mixed theme of "Cirque" as the title says, and then we have books and apples which makes me think of school. I adore all the swirls [...I ALWAYS love swirls] And how some of those pencil seem like pikes, the way they're stood. No wonder you got an A!
And, hot damn, all of those books must've been tedious and extremely annoying to draw (?). They're drawn really well, by the way. Well, the entire piece is drawn very well, actually.
