Dedicated to Isabel

Thank you for being my friend, my inspiration, and my artistic idol. I don’t know if you realize the impact you and your art have had on me, but I’m hoping by now you’re starting to somewhat understand the extent of my respect for you. I really appreciate all your kindness, support, and words of advice. Guess my “Asian-artist friend on deviantart” whom I met all those months back when I was first around this site has really come to mean a lot more to me over time. Nothing but love goes out to you babe. Keep the art coming, cause you know I’ll be eagerly awaiting your next masterpiece.

Heck why not. Isabel, let’s do this your way and have a “list of 10 reasons” why I decided to dedicate this piece to you :

1. Your “unhealthy obsession” when it comes to CAM
2. Our mutual love for the Matrix (I don’t know, just thought it kind of tied into the whole CAM thing), and you forgiving me (oh no wait, you ended up e-stabbing me that time) for my minor lapse in my love for the Matrix, hey I did end up seeing it. So there.
3. Your “mad skill” as an artist has inspired me to further explore the art of the pencil
4. Drawing my the picture of Smith even thought it was one you “didn’t like doing”. Ha you really didn’t have to if that was the case. But in a way I’m glad you suffered because now I get to oogle at it. j/k. I love it you know I do.
5. Your generosity You know what I’m talking about…signed too I noticed on one of them. You are just too kind. I could sell it for big bucks on E-bay and still have one for myself it’s kind of a win-win situation that way…except you know I’m the one that wins…twice. j/k XP
6. I still owe you that e-slap so you know, I’ll be nice to you now…but you better keep an eye out, cause one of these days…it’s coming.
7. So I won’t have to owe you anything after we go out on that “dinner and a movie date” j/k
8. Your continuous support of my artwork. Thanks! And for trusting me with your favorite CAM pic on this one, ha I can’t believe you’d let me do that, I mean, ha I hardly do it justice, you should have done it.
9. Being able to forgive me for my 5 minute conversations on MSN filled mostly with one line ranting. But then again, you ditched me so we’re square. lol

11. Oh no! I have 11, darn. Well, that kind of defeats the purpose of the “list of 10 reasons” but ha, I’ll coin the “like of 11 reasons”. #11 I don’t remember anymore, but I guess we’ll just say for the sake of beating you out in SOMETHING (since you know, I kind of…CAN’T in art ). Ha! I have 1 more reason than you!

Done on printer paper, 8B, 6B, 2B, HB, 3H, 4H pencils with 0.5 mechanical pencil and…and eraser, yes lots of eraser.
